Our lifeguards are certified through Jeff Ellis and Associates and are recertified or newly certified each year before the summer season. CPR certification, AED usage, and the proper safety protocol is taught and reviewed throughout the season via “lifeguard inservice”. 

After the class is taken and passed, lifeguards are certified and then may apply at the Aquatic Center for hire for the season. Applications can be picked up at the Parks Office in the Spring season; prior to the opening of the pool.
